volunteer for Shelf Life

Shelf Life is currently looking for the following volunteers:

1) Transcribers! We need to get hours and hours of community stories transcribed from audio to text. We provide the software and the training. If you have time on your hands and typing skills, get in touch. You'll learn a great deal from these stories.

2) People interested in recording stories. We can train you in audio recording / interviewing techniques!

3) Handy people who could help us with some fix it jobs at the storefront.

4) People who can staff the storefront during open hours.

If you're interested in history, community engagement, and/or audio storytelling, we'd love to get you involved. Contact us or stop by the storefront!
